23 January 2024 -  Kids and Art for Ukraine were honored to participate at the Inaugural event for the  Device Coalition hosted at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.  The Device Coalition is a cooperative effort involving organizations, governments, and patrons to supply devices for Ukrainian students and teachers engaged in online education. It was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Olena Zelenska Foundation.

Since the start of the program Kids and Art for Ukraine were able to provide many art schools and centers with laptops, interactive boards, computers and smart TVs to enable the schools to continue with their  studies.  We always believed that it is not just a learning process but also an important art therapy which takes the children away from the sirens, bombing, death and destruction if only for a few hours.

October 2023 - The British Parliament opened its doors for the exhibition of children's paintings from Ukraine "Kids and Art for Ukraine". The exhibition was opened by a Member of the British Parliament, Clive Efford. For the first time, he saw an exhibition of paintings in the local library in the Eltham area, which is in the south-east of London, and did not remain indifferent. He was impressed by the stories and works of talented Ukrainian children who, despite the brutal war, demonstrate the indomitable spirit and strength of the entire Ukrainian nation! Weeks of organizational moments - and children's works are now exhibited in the Parliament and Ukrainian landscapes, culture and art brings pleasant memories and emotions in British visitors.

This is an incredible recognition and fantastic support for our talented kids and great news on our artistic front! Now these wonderful paintings will inspire British MPs to help Ukraine even more!! A huge thank you to our great friend Clive Efford and his team for their incredible support and care!!

For us it is a great honour and boundless gratitude for the support, kindness, care and love from the British people!!

The exhibition will last only one week. During this time, we will remind you again that the war in Ukraine continues. And we really need global support!

Hosted within the walls of BlackRock, the event featured the moving documentary Children of Ukraine by renowned journalist Shahida Tulaganova, alongside a stunning display from our fundraising exhibition Kids and Art for Ukraine.

On 8 June 2023 in support of our charitable project we were honoured and privileged to welcome in EBRD Shahida Tulaganova, Emmy Nominated producer and director, for the screening of heartbreaking ITV documentary - Children of Ukraine.

You just know, it will be an emotional 1.5 hours when you embark on watching a documentary about the war told by children who went through something no child should see or experience. First tears - when you see 18 year old Vyacheslav from Donnetsk region break down as he describes his experience of loosing his mum in front of his eyes and having to become sole guardian to his four siblings - yes, he is only 18. More tears as you hear a story of 11 year old Demid from Mariupol who for weeks had almost no food, water or electricity before being forced to flee his besieged city on foot. More stories from children from different cities and towns and then when you think you have seen it all, a story of 11-year old Andrey, whose both parents are on a frontline. Together with his friend he holds toy guns and mans a pretend checkpoint in his village. Little defenders call their battalion of 2 - Clear Sky - oh yes, it is all very serious especially when you see passing military treat them with utmost respect!

Dear Shahida Tulaganova - thank you, rahmat, дякуємо for your tireless work and support! The message is clear- we have to help and protect our children - they are 1/3 of our population now but they are ALL our future!
